About Me
Hi! I'm Kevin Robinson. An expat living in Jakarta.
In my early teen years, I found myself [me] losing 150k euro in a week as I took a gamble on the stock exchange. My net worth halved in a matter of a week. That seriously hurt me - emotionally and mentally.
Most of you have likely experienced that feeling when hitting your teen years and you discover your welfare has been cut in half. This is when you hit that breakout.
What did I learn from this experience? First of all, you can do amazing things when you are financially responsible. This is not essential in the beginning of investing and long term saving. You may have no idea what financial discipline is, but in the long term it will increase your socioeconomic success. So yeah, a feeling of peace and calm is most important.
Secondly, I have learned accountability. This is not just a monetary concept, but a human one. It is important to learn that if you follow good financial habits then you can be counted on to do the things that make you happy. If you didn't do the right things you would be making big mistakes, and you have to own up to them. The more you are accountable to yourself, the better you are prepared to confront financial failure so that you can find success in the future.
This blog is dedicated to teaching the ways of the Jack Rabbit - on how be prosperous and financially educated.
Welcome to my blog, where I talk about all the ways I found to set myself free from the usual mess and stress of life. My name is Kevin Robinson, but my friends have nicknamed me Jack Rabbit, as a reflection of my unending energy and willingness to fight to better my position in the world.
My fight is not through the usual means, however. It is through me finding ways to be financially responsible for myself and to help slowly build up on my value to keep a steady supply of money going through, day by day, week by week. Join me as I share my experience with lessons learned and tips and tricks from the various experiences I have had in life.
